Do you want to work with instrumentation and automation in technically advanced projects within the process and energy industries? Nevita is now looking for an Instrumentation Engineer / E&I Engineer who wants to be part of developing the industry of the future – in an environment where technology, collaboration, and development are in focus.
Your Role
As an Instrumentation Engineer / E&I Engineer, you will be an important part of our projects within the process and energy industries. You will work with instrumentation and automation-related matters throughout different phases of the project lifecycle – from feasibility studies and design to installation, testing, and commissioning.
You will work closely with process, electrical, and automation engineers, as well as project management, customers, and suppliers.
Examples of your work tasks:
Design and technical solutions for instrumentation in process facilities.
Work from P&ID and translate process requirements into instrumentation solutions.
Instrument and material selection, as well as development of technical specifications and documentation.
Work with I/O, loops, valves, and measuring instruments for example pressure, flow, level, and temperature.
Ensure that solutions meet relevant requirements and standards, for example within ATEX.
Participate in technical reviews and coordination with other disciplines, suppliers, and customers.
Assist with FAT/SAT, I/O checks, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Depending on your background, the role may also include work with PLC/DCS and industrial automation.
Your Profile
We believe you have:
Technical education in instrumentation, automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
Experience with instrumentation within process, energy, or other heavy industry.
Good understanding of processes and experience working with P&ID.
Experience with instrument selection, I/O, loops, valves, and various types of process measurement.
Knowledge of ATEX and instrumentation in industrial environments.
Ability to collaborate with multiple technical disciplines and see the bigger picture in a facility.
It is a plus if you also have experience with SIL/SIS and Functional Safety, commissioning, FAT/SAT, as well as PLC and DCS systems. Experience with for example ABB 800xA/AC800M, Emerson DeltaV, or Siemens TIA Portal/PCS7 is an extra bonus.
