At our Fire and Rescue Service Training Center (RUC) in Luleå, you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating and developmental environment – while being part of shaping how our training programs should look going forward. Learn more about our employment benefits: https://www.lulea.se/anstallning About the operation RUC conducts training in, among other things: • GRIB • Part-time firefighters • Exercise activities for rescue services We also collaborate with actors such as the Police and the Swedish Armed Forces. Here, public benefit is combined with pedagogical development. About the role As an instructor, you work both practically and pedagogically in a varied daily routine: Plan and conduct training in fire protection and safety Lead exercises on training grounds, in classrooms and digitally Ensure high quality in training together with colleagues Collaborate with the rescue service's training unit Contribute to developing new training modules, exercises and materials Take an active part in improving and developing the operation Qualifications To function in this role, you need to have: The GRIB, SMO or other equivalent training or experience Good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing Category B driver's license Meritorious for the role are also: Previous experience educating or leading groups, practically and/or theoretically. Instructor training, for example CPR or Hot Work. Experience from rescue service or similar operations RUHB Personal qualities For you to thrive in the role, we see that you: • Are pedagogical and enjoy sharing your knowledge • Take initiative and drive your work forward • Are innovative and want to develop new ways of working • Are reflective and develop through feedback • Are collaborative and contribute to a strong team As a person, you are pedagogically inclined and like to contribute knowledge. Furthermore, you treat others with respect and tolerance and have interest, willingness and ability to help others grow. You strive to deliver solutions and develop your own work methods and practices. You also have an interest in Fire and Rescue Service and civil protection and keep yourself updated within your areas through environmental monitoring.
