Do you want to be part of our wonderful team? We are currently looking for a trained dog handler with onboarding responsibility at one of our dog daycare centers in Göteborg. The position starts at the end of October and is a part-time role with potential to increase hours over time for the right person. We are only looking for someone with professional education in the field – someone who has completed dog daycare training or is a dog instructor, dog behavior consultant, or similar. You also have work experience from dog daycare and are experienced with onboarding daycare dogs and creating groups where dogs thrive together. Working hours vary; our opening hours are 05:30–19:00 every weekday. You genuinely love dogs, use reward-based training methods, and enjoy being outdoors in all weather. Since the work is partly physical with many walks per day, you are not afraid of physical labor and can walk dogs in larger groups. You roll up your sleeves where needed, take initiative, and support your colleagues. Together you are a team that ensures the dogs thrive at daycare. You want to be part of all aspects of the company and follow the routines, guidelines, and vision we have. The role also includes responsibility for onboarding new dogs and ensuring functioning groups are created. Since customer contact and information handover are part of the job, you are also skilled at receiving customers and communicating with people. Problem-solving, thinking outside the box, and coming up with your own suggestions and ideas for solutions are also important parts of the work. Examples of tasks: Walk dogs in groups, large and small Activate/train dogs Wash, clean – it's important that daycare is kept clean, so there is a lot of cleaning. Trim nails, bathe and groom, etc. Open or close daycare. We open at 05:30 and close at 19:00. Plan and conduct onboarding of new dogs, ongoing evaluation of dog groups and ensure the dogs thrive at daycare. We have a collective agreement.
