Procurement Specialist with Strategic Focus in Stockholm

More about the job In this role, you will become an important part of the company's procurement function and work closely with the project organization to ensure commercially sound and sustainable procurement. You will, among other things: Work strategically with supplier selection and develop long-term supplier partnerships. Identify procurement needs and prepare procurement documentation and conduct request for quotations. Negotiate prices, terms, and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, economics, and commercial viability and participate in supplier audits. Contribute to the development of procurement processes, working methods, and contract structures. Follow up on costs, deliveries, and deviations to ensure quality and efficiency. Work in close dialogue with internal stakeholders and support the business on procurement-related matters. Requirements for the position YH or university education in procurement, technology, economics, or another relevant field At least three years of experience in procurement within the construction, real estate, infrastructure, or contracting industry. We also welcome applicants with somewhat less procurement experience but a solid background from the industry in a related role, such as estimator, surveyor, or similar Experience working with negotiations, requests for quotations, and agreements Good understanding of commercial agreements Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written Meritorious B driver's license About you To succeed in this role, we believe you are a structured person who enjoys creating order and driving your work forward independently. You have a commercial mindset and feel comfortable in dialogue with suppliers, while you have the ability to build long-term relationships. The pace is sometimes high, which requires you to be able to prioritize, keep many contacts active simultaneously, and maintain your attention to detail. You are also curious and see opportunities to develop both working methods and processes.
