The Student Services Division is part of the university administration and is tasked with providing support and services to students before, during, and after their studies, as well as handling student matters. The Student Services Division also provides operational support to the university's institutions, faculties, departments, and leadership. With a focus on educational quality, the Student Services Division's activities should be characterized by professionalism, efficiency, legal certainty, and accessibility. The Student Services Division consists of approximately 150 people and operations are conducted in the Student House on the university campus. We are currently seeking a substitute Information Officer for Infocenter on floor 2 in the Student House, campus Frescati. More information about us can be found at: Student Services Division Job Responsibilities The work is performed primarily on-site at the Infocenter reception, which daily receives a large number of visitors. You will be part of a work team with a rotating schedule. The job responsibilities are of a varied nature, and the main task is to provide excellent service and information to students and prospective students in various areas, as well as provide information to the public about the university's activities. This also includes responding to Student Services Division emails, posting information and updating digital computer screens, writing degree certificates and registration documents, as well as ensuring that printed materials are available. The work involves constantly solving new questions, meeting the unexpected, and making service the priority. The job responsibilities also include participating in one or more communication projects, such as work with Instagram and the web. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: academic education well-developed ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English comfortable IT user with good knowledge of the Office package experience with similar job tasks. Meritorious: knowledge of additional languages (beyond Swedish and English) experience with Ladok experience working at an educational institution or government agency experience with content production for social media and web. Personal Qualities: A prerequisite for the role is that you have a genuine interest in service, are engaged, responsible, and solution-oriented. You want to develop yourself and administrative work routines. To succeed in the role, we see that you are skilled at working independently, have an aptitude for building relationships, and have very good communication skills. You should also be good at collaborating, taking initiative, and being able to adapt to a fast-moving and changing work situation. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. About the Position The position is full-time and is limited until October 31, 2027. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.
