IT Security Manager Data Protection and Information Technology Security Center The Data Protection and Information Technology Security Center of the Central Administration of Riga City Municipality oversees personal data protection and information technology security within the municipal administration, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinates IT infrastructure security management across municipal institutions, and provides data protection specialist functions within the municipality. We will entrust you with: performing cybersecurity management functions as provided in regulatory acts; developing and implementing cybersecurity management and solution strategy; developing and updating documentation and procedures related to information systems security (including internal regulatory acts); monitoring information systems security and compliance with security requirements established in regulatory acts; conducting analysis of information systems and cybersecurity incidents, system monitoring, threat and vulnerability assessment, and risk management; organizing and conducting employee cybersecurity training; collaborating with external institutions related to cybersecurity management; providing consultations to municipal institutions on cybersecurity matters. We expect: higher academic or second-level higher professional education in information technology or cybersecurity management; at least two years of work experience in cybersecurity management acquired within the last five years, or a valid internationally recognized cybersecurity certificate (for example, CISM, CISSP); at least two years of practical work experience in information systems, computer networks, or ICT security solutions administration or computer systems development; in-depth knowledge of ICT security solutions, IT solution architecture, and cloud computing platforms; ability to train colleagues in best cybersecurity practices; good knowledge of Latvian and English languages, both spoken and written; responsibility, strategic vision, good time management and collaboration skills. Advantage: practical experience working with cybersecurity monitoring systems, especially SIEM solutions, and application of various cybersecurity tools.
