Location: Umeå Start: Future openings Assignment length: 6-month fixed-term contract with possibility of extension Work hours: Full-time, shift work may occur About the industrial worker job As an industrial worker at Volvo, you will be an important part of the operation and production of world-leading vehicles. Volvo offers several different roles within production where tasks vary depending on department and area of expertise. Examples of work tasks: Assembly of components and vehicle parts Machine monitoring and machine operation Operator work in production Painting and surface treatment Welding and sheet metal processing About you We are looking for someone who is thorough, responsible, and enjoys working together with others. You have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and are motivated by contributing to high quality in your work. To succeed in the role, you need to be flexible, adapt easily to new tasks, and thrive in a production environment. We see that you have: Completed upper secondary education Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written Category B driver's license and access to a car Good physical condition Merits If you have experience from the industry, it is a merit, particularly in one of the following areas: Experience as a machine operator or process operator Assembly work Painting Welding Sheet metal processing or sheet metal work Forklift certification Overhead crane certification Background check information In accordance with our clients' requirements, this recruitment includes a background check from the criminal and delinquency register as part of the hiring process.
