Combitech is growing and is now recruiting additional ILS engineers to our teams in Växjö and Karlskrona. Whether you are experienced in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or just starting your career, we offer a development role where you work closely with technology, operations, and users to create sustainable and efficient support solutions. Your role as an ILS Engineer in Defense and Civil Security As an ILS engineer, you work at the intersection of technology, users, and operations. Your task is to ensure that complex technical systems not only function technically, but can also be used, maintained, and supported in the environment where the customer will deploy them. Depending on your experience and project needs, you may work with areas such as ILS/LSA, maintenance planning, RAMT, technical documentation, spare parts and material requirements, support equipment, configuration management, obsolescence management, and lifecycle costs. Throughout this work, analyses and investigations are used to create a support solution that works together with the technical system and contributes to long-term availability and efficiency. The position involves travel to varying extents. We therefore see that you have the ability and willingness to travel as part of assignments and customer collaborations. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with relevant academic education in areas such as technology or engineering science, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience. You have excellent ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and you find it easy to grasp technical systems and understand the relationships between different functions, components, and requirements. As a person, you are structured and analytical. You appreciate collaborating with other areas of expertise and actively contribute to your team's joint deliverables. At the same time, you are driven by understanding the bigger picture and are curious about how technical decisions impact usability, maintenance, availability, and costs over time. If you have previous experience in ILS, LSA, or related areas, you have the opportunity to independently drive analyses, investigations, and deliverables. If you are early in your career, we instead see that you have a strong technical foundation, good analytical skills, and a genuine interest in developing within the field. It is a merit if you have experience with ILS/LSA, RAM/RAMT, maintenance planning, technical documentation, configuration management, or other aspects of a system support solution. Experience from Försvarsmakten, FMV, the defense industry, or naval operations is also valuable. We place great emphasis on personality and consultant qualities in our selection. In this role you will often have direct contact with customers, users, and other collaborators. We therefore seek someone who is communicative, responsive, and trustworthy. You have a professional demeanor, are comfortable in dialogue with different stakeholders, and can explain technical matters in a pedagogical way tailored to your audience's needs.
