An official is a person with appropriate professional education, qualifications and special service rank who has taken an oath and serves in the Administration. The rights and duties of officials are determined by the Correctional Facilities Administration Law and the Law on the Service of Officials with Special Service Ranks of the Interior Ministry System Agencies and the Correctional Facilities Administration. LV-4219 Contact Information: 64123906; [email protected] Submit CV and motivation letter to: [email protected]; [email protected] Requirements for Candidates: Compliance with requirements set out in the Law on the Service of Officials with Special Service Ranks of the Interior Ministry System Agencies and the Correctional Facilities Administration: Must be a Latvian citizen; Age from 18 to 50 years; At least secondary education required for the position; Latvian language proficiency at level B, tier 1; Physical fitness in accordance with requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 288 of 28.05.2013 "Physical Fitness Requirements for Officials with Special Service Ranks of the Interior Ministry System Agencies and the Correctional Facilities Administration"); Health status and psychological characteristics in accordance with requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 970 of 21.11.2006 "Regulations on the Health Status and Psychological Characteristics Required for Officials with Special Service Ranks of the Interior Ministry System Agencies and the Correctional Facilities Administration and Candidates for Such Positions and the Procedure for Checking Health Status and Psychological Characteristics"); Has not been convicted of an intentional criminal offense – regardless of conviction expungement or removal; Has not been convicted of an intentional criminal offense with exemption from punishment; Has not been charged with a criminal offense for committing an intentional crime, except where the official has been charged but criminal proceedings have been terminated on rehabilitating grounds; Has not been declared legally incapacitated in the manner prescribed by law; Has not been dismissed from service in the Interior Ministry system or the Correctional Facilities Administration due to disciplinary action of dismissal from service; Excellent communication skills and high psychological resilience; Ability to work both as a team member and independently.
