An official is a person with appropriate professional education, qualifications, and special service rank who has sworn an oath and serves in the Administration. The rights and duties of officials are determined by the Prison Administration Law and the Service Law for Officials with Special Service Ranks in the Interior Ministry System and Prison Administration. Vacancy: Riga Central Prison Security Division Specialist, 5413 10 Position Type: Full-time Salary: from 1545 EUR Workplace: Prison Administration's Riga Central Prison – Mazā Matīsa iela 5, Riga, LV-1009 Contact: 67290314 Submit CV and motivation letter to: [email protected]; [email protected] Requirements for Candidates: Compliance with requirements set out in the Service Law for Officials with Special Service Ranks in the Interior Ministry System and Prison Administration: Must be a Latvian citizen; Age 18 to 50 years; Minimum secondary education required for the position; Latvian language proficiency at B level 1st degree; Physical fitness meets requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 288 of 28.05.2013 "Physical Fitness Requirements for Officials with Special Service Ranks in the Interior Ministry System and Prison Administration"); Health status and psychological characteristics meet requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 970 of 21.11.2006 "Regulations on Health Status and Psychological Characteristics Required for Officials with Special Service Ranks and Candidates for Official Positions in the Interior Ministry System and Prison Administration, and the Procedure for Health and Psychological Assessment"); Has not been convicted of an intentional criminal offense – regardless of conviction expungement or removal; Has not been sentenced for an intentional criminal offense with exemption from punishment; Has not been prosecuted for committing an intentional criminal offense, except where the official has been prosecuted but criminal proceedings were terminated on rehabilitative grounds; Has not been declared incapable in the manner specified by law; Has not been dismissed from service in the Interior Ministry System or Prison Administration due to disciplinary dismissal; Good communication skills, high psychological resilience; Ability to work both as a team member and independently.
