Björktorpsskolan is a grades F–6 school with just over 550 students. We are centrally located in Eskilstuna, with proximity to green spaces, the train station, and the city center. The school consists of two school buildings with a large and pleasant schoolyard between them.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a physical education teacher, you plan, conduct, and evaluate instruction in sports and health from grades F–6. You work from the curriculum's goals and create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where students develop joy in movement, motor skills, collaboration abilities, and an interest in physical activity and health. You contribute with energy, creativity, and commitment and inspire students toward an active and healthy life.
You assess and document students' knowledge development and adapt instruction based on students' different needs and circumstances. Your nearest colleague will be another physical education teacher at the school, and you will naturally become part of a work team consisting of other educators, a school nurse, and a counselor.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who holds teacher certification with authorization to teach sports and health in grades F–6. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, and good IT skills. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working as a physical education teacher.
As a person, you are energetic, curious, and creative. You enjoy working with children and have an easy time creating safe and positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to a good atmosphere in the workplace.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
