About the Workplace You will be part of the office for Experimental Medical Science (EMV), located at BMC in Lund. The EMV office offers a creative and stimulating work environment where collaboration is at the heart of daily operations. Currently, we have 14 people in the office, including three HR partners, and we support research groups and research group leaders with matters related to HR, finance, and communication. The office is led by Sofie Magnusson, who works as an Administrative Director. We are now seeking a driven HR Partner for a permanent position. The employment is full-time with a desired start date as soon as possible, no later than October 1st. Duties and Areas of Responsibility Being an HR Partner at Lund University means you will advise managers on HR matters related to their management responsibilities. Lund University defines the manager's role in three areas: employer, leader, and operational manager, and you contribute an HR perspective in all three roles. Lund University is a decentralized organization, and HR functions operate at the departmental, faculty, or university-wide level. As an HR Partner at the Department of Experimental Medical Science (EMV), you will work both independently and broadly within HR. You will support managers and employees with various HR matters and ensure that labor law and agreements are followed. Managers will turn to you first for HR-related questions. You will work independently and broadly within HR. You will manage recruitment processes and be an active participant in restructuring and workforce shortage proceedings. You will drive and follow up on union negotiations as well as develop, manage, and implement HR routines and processes. You are responsible for planning and organizing your own work. You are expected to represent the department and the university in various contexts, such as in the development and change of HR processes at both the departmental and university levels. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a consultative manner. You are confident in your professional role and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to solve daily questions and challenges. The role requires that you can independently organize and structure your work and drive processes forward. It is also important that you have analytical ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to build networks and relationships. Requirements for employment: - University degree in human resources and labor issues, or education and/or experience that can be considered equivalent - Experience working in a consultative, operational, and strategic manner on HR matters - Experience working with competency-based recruitment - Good knowledge of labor law - Experience working with migration issues - Experience recruiting international employees - Good experience working with HR support systems - Strong collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach - Excellent Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written Merits for employment: - Experience working with HR matters in the public sector and/or other large organizations, preferably in an international environment - Knowledge of the state agreement area - Experience planning and conducting courses/short training sessions or workshops - Experience with Primula (HR and payroll system) and Varbi (recruitment system) - Good knowledge of Excel We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
