We are looking for an experienced chief accountant who is not intimidated by complex agendas and wants to have real influence on how the company operates. ACS, part of the international 2JCP group, is a dynamically growing company operating in the field of design and provision of technical solutions, particularly for energy and industrial construction. Together with our international teams, we support renowned customers in the field of switchboard manufacturing, installations, technology commissioning, and system maintenance. We are a mid-sized electrical/engineering company in Příbram with unconsolidated revenue of approximately 400 million Kč and subsidiary companies in Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, and Austria. The company executes project contracts (installations, technologies) mainly in Europe, accounts in the Helios system, and prepares consolidated financial statements in accordance with Czech accounting standards. Main Responsibilities: • Managing a team of 3 accountants • Complete responsibility for accounting in accordance with Czech accounting regulations • Managing monthly and annual closings • Ensuring accounting accuracy (including accruals, provisions, reserves) • Preparing consolidated financial statements for the group in accordance with Czech GAAP • Eliminating inter-company relationships (sales, expenses, receivables, payables) • Cooperation with foreign subsidiaries (Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Austria) • Setting up and monitoring reporting packages for subsidiaries • Processing and monitoring VAT returns (monthly/quarterly) • Managing cross-border VAT (reverse charge, foreign registration, installations) • Cooperation on corporate income tax • Communication with tax advisors and tax authorities • Accounting for project production (work-in-progress, WIP) • Cooperation with controlling on revenue recognition methodology (milestones/% completion) • Monitoring project margins from an accounting perspective • Preparing audit documentation (individual and consolidated) • Communication with auditors • Preparing materials for management and owners Requirements: • Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a senior position • Experience managing accounting for a mid-sized company • Experience with consolidation • Knowledge of Czech accounting standards (Czech GAAP) • Practical knowledge of VAT, including cross-border transactions • Great advantage - experience with: o project accounting/WIP o international groups o differences between local GAAP (PL, DE, AT, BG) o ERP Helios • Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, data analysis) • Languages: Czech – native speaker, English – minimum B2 (communication with foreign subsidiaries) • Independence and responsibility, ability to establish processes • Attention to detail + ability to see the big picture • Communication skills (finance vs. project teams) Employee Benefits: We are pleased to offer you: • Starting gross salary: 60,000 – 80,000 Kč • Regular salary increases • Meal vouchers allowance • Sick days • E-benefits • Pension insurance contribution • Annual bonus • Flexible working hours • A key role in the group's financial management, direct cooperation with CFO/company management • Opportunity to shape accounting and consolidation processes • Stable and dynamically growing company with 25-year history and international reach • Internal and external training (professional courses, soft skills, etc.), English and German language courses during workPosition: Chief Accountant Start Date: By agreement, Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 Kč/month Work Location: Březohorská č.p. 253, Příbram VII 261 01 Příbram 1 Contact: Zápotočná Lucie, e-mail: [email protected] Additional Information: Chief Accountant Do you have accounting firmly in hand, do you enjoy responsibility and want to be a key partner to company management?
