Assistive Device Consultant with Procurement Responsibility

We are seeking an assistive device consultant with procurement responsibility who wants to be part of developing the future of assistive device supply. With us, you will have an important role in ensuring that our assistive devices maintain high quality, meet operational needs, and contribute to a safe and efficient daily life for patients, prescribers, and colleagues. You will work closely with the operations and become an important link between operational needs and the procurement process. You will plan, coordinate, and lead the work for assistive device procurements and serve as the operations' expert support in procurement matters. Together with the operations' various professions, you will coordinate requirements and participate in assortment work and product evaluations. You will also work with register management, including updating procured assortments and handling replacement products. Together with the procurement unit, you will monitor agreements and suppliers as well as product function and quality. You will monitor the assistive device field and follow market developments to contribute to the right products and agreements based on user needs, quality, function, economics, and sustainability. The position also includes working as an assistive device consultant when needed. About You You are good at collaboration and building positive relationships, and you are communicative and confident in dialogue with various professions. You also have a genuine interest in quality, development, and improvement work. You are a licensed occupational therapist, licensed physiotherapist, or licensed physical therapist and have experience in assistive device operations, medical technology, procurement, assortment work, or similar area. – the most important thing is that you have an understanding of operational needs and enjoy working in a coordinating and developing role. To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to have a strong ability to create structure and drive processes forward. You enjoy working independently as well as in a group. You are analytical and can weigh different needs against each other. Experience in public sector operations, assistive devices, or work with procurement and agreements is a merit. A valid driver's license is required as our assistive device operations span the entire county and travel may occur.
