About You
As an Assistive Technology Consultant, you provide qualified support to prescribers and users of assistive devices. You work in a consultative and advisory capacity throughout the prescription process.
Your role as an Assistive Technology Consultant includes:
participating in trials, adaptation, and customization of assistive devices together with the patient
being a prescriber and assistive technology technician
providing advice and guidance on assistive technology solutions
monitoring the market and contributing to the development of the assistive device range
participating in procurement processes and contributing your professional expertise
planning and conducting training for prescribers and other target groups
participating in operational improvement work and developing routines and guidelines
You will work closely with assistive technology technicians, warehouse staff, assistants, suppliers, rehabilitation services, hospitals, health centers, and municipal operations.
We are looking for someone who:
is a licensed occupational therapist or physical therapist/physiotherapist
preferably has experience with technical assistive devices
has good computer skills and a valid driver's license

You enjoy sharing your knowledge and have the ability to explain complex matters in a clear and pedagogical way. At the same time, you are driven to develop both the organization and yourself.

The Assistive Technology Services are located in Kalmar and Västervik, but our mission covers the entire county. We are 16 employees with different professions and specialist expertise who together work to provide residents with the best possible assistive technology solutions.
