HOME CARE STAFF – HOURLY POSITION, DEMENTIA AND MENTAL HEALTH We are looking for you who want to work regularly in our home care service and have a strong interest in working within one or more of the organization's focus areas. Stockholm Dementia and Specialist Team is a home care service that works with people with dementia, mental health conditions, functional disabilities, and substance abuse issues. The work is tailored to each customer's needs and we focus heavily on respectful interaction, motivation, and various creative approaches to make the assistance work in the customer's daily life. OUR TEAMS AND FOCUS AREAS The organization is divided into different teams. The Dementia Team works with people who have various forms of dementia. Within the Dementia Team there is also a specialist dementia team, where a dedicated staff group works with customers who have more advanced dementia and greater need for adapted interaction and working methods. The Specialist Team works with people who have mental health conditions, functional disabilities, or substance abuse issues. The Specialist Team also includes the residential support team. As an employee, you can work within different parts of the organization. Placement is planned based on customers' and the organization's needs as well as your experience, knowledge, and personal suitability. ABOUT THE POSITION Employment type: Fixed-term hourly employment as needed. You have no set schedule but are booked for individual shifts based on the organization's needs and your availability. Working hours: Day 07.30–16.30 and/or evening 15.00–22.00 Start date: By agreement Salary: Hourly wage according to collective agreement, Almega Vårdföretagarna To work with us, you need to be able to work at least three full shifts per week on an ongoing basis and have the opportunity to continue with the organization for a longer period. You need to be able to work at least one weekday each week and be able to participate in staff meetings, supervision, and other planned activities. You can work days, evenings, or a combination of both depending on your availability and the organization's needs. Base location: The organization's office on Södermalm, Stockholm. You start and end each shift at the office. The organization has customers in several different districts in Stockholm. When working as needed, you will be deployed where the organization needs reinforcement and therefore need to be flexible regarding customers, work areas, and teams. Placement is planned based on the organization's and customers' needs as well as your experience, knowledge, and personal suitability. You travel between customers using public transportation. The organization has no company vehicles and an SL card is a requirement for the position. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for someone who is responsible, responsive, flexible, and committed. It is important that you have a genuine interest in our customer groups and are open to learning more about different diagnoses, interaction, and working methods. You need to be able to receive supervision, feedback, and training and apply it in your daily work. The work requires that you can work independently but also collaborate well with colleagues, coordinate, and assist when plans change during a shift. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, especially interaction, responsibility, initiative, responsiveness, and commitment. Previous experience from home care and/or residential care is a merit. SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT You receive ongoing support from your supervisor as well as both practical and theoretical supervision. We continuously work on competence development within the organization's different focus areas. To be able to work safely and independently with our customers, you need to be involved in the organization and be able to participate in planned supervision and training sessions. WORK TASKS You work in customers' own homes and carry out authorized services such as personal care, showering, dressing and undressing, meal preparation, social interaction, walks, shopping, laundry, cleaning, and escort services. An important part of the work is being able to motivate the customer and adapt your interaction and working methods so that the assistance can be provided. Documentation and feedback to your supervisor are part of the work. TIME REGISTRATION AND DOCUMENTATION We use Paragå for time registration and documentation. You log in and out at each customer visit using a mobile phone and NFC tag. The system registers time and location and is also used for documentation in the customer's file.
