Home care services are divided into five geographic areas where approximately 60 employees work to provide our residents with safe and person-centered care. For us, the customers' needs, participation, and self-determination are in focus. As a unit manager, you will be responsible for two of the home care service's five areas while your management colleague is responsible for the other three. You will work closely together and share joint responsibility for developing the operations, creating favorable conditions for employees, and ensuring high-quality care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, quality, finances, personnel, and work environment within your areas of responsibility. You lead, plan, and develop operations based on legislation, objectives, governing documents, and operational needs. You are responsible for budgeting and resource planning with the goal of ensuring operations with good quality and balanced finances. Personnel responsibility includes recruitment, employee meetings, rehabilitation, scheduling, and systematic work environment management. Through clear, present, and trust-based leadership, you create conditions for your employees to develop, take responsibility, and contribute to operational goals. You monitor operational results and drive development and improvement work to meet future needs in healthcare and social services. Digitalization and welfare technology are important parts of this work. As part of your assignment, you participate in the management group for healthcare and social services, where you and other managers drive and develop operations from a holistic perspective. In your role, you collaborate with customers, family members, employees, management colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders to create the best conditions for operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • An academic degree, preferably with a focus on social care, social work education, nursing education, or other education that the employer deems relevant • Several years of experience with leadership including personnel, work environment, and operational responsibility as well as budgeting • Experience from home care services or other operations within healthcare and social services • Good knowledge of current legislation and the conditions that govern operations • Driver's license (Category B) • Good digital competence It is meriting if you have: • Experience leading change and development initiatives • Experience with digitalization and welfare technology work • Experience with scheduling • Previous management experience in public sector operations Personal qualities: To succeed in this role, you are communicative and practice close leadership.
