The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and health and medical care at home, individual and family care, and care and residential facilities. We operate five care and residential facilities located in different areas of the municipality. Solrosen and Ryttershov are located in the beautiful central parts of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are situated in the nature-rich outskirts of the municipality. JOB DUTIES Your primary responsibility is to provide each person with the care and support they need, always with the individual at the center. To create the best possible everyday life for our residents, you work in a team with colleagues and other professionals within elderly care. Together, we strive to offer a safe, active, and pleasant environment where each person has the conditions to live as independently as possible. In your role, you provide care and support according to the Social Services Act, and you also perform delegated health and medical care tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act. You are present with the resident in their daily life and contribute everything from personal care and meal support to social companionship and reassurance. The work also involves participating in important forums such as care planning meetings, team meetings, and incident meetings to ensure safe and professional care for our elderly residents. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people and who enjoys creating security, participation, and joy in everyday life. Experience working with people with dementia diagnoses is highly desirable. We are seeking someone who is a trained care assistant. It is important to us that you want to contribute to safe, professional, and dignified care for our residents. We value that you are initiative-taking and creative, with a strong ability to foster participation both with your colleagues and with the residents. You work independently, are flexible, and enjoy sharing your knowledge. We also see that you are courageous, engaged, positive, and willing to be a bit stubborn when needed. Language skills beyond Swedish are valuable, but it is important that you have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing. You also need good documentation and computer skills, as we work digitally in our daily operations and develop care plans focused on each individual's needs. Work shifts are scheduled for weekends and days adjacent to weekends. There is very limited public transportation to Hökerumsgården, so we prefer that you have a B driving license and access to a car. Employment type: Permanent employment.
