We are approximately 40 employees distributed across three units and several teams. In KRAMI, you work closely with two colleagues from Arbetsförmedlingen and Frivården in a smaller work group, while being part of the larger context at Jobbcentrum. Together, you support individuals with a background in criminal activity to move closer to the labor market. The work is varied and involves meetings with participants with different needs and circumstances. You have great freedom to plan and adapt your work, with established methods and routines for support. We have a strong community where we collaborate and help each other. As a newcomer, you'll receive structured introduction and the opportunity to be supported by a mentor. Jobbcentrum is centrally located at Kungsgatan 16, approximately 500 meters from the train and bus station. In this role, you also work at various workplaces and activities within the municipality's labor market units. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a mentor within KRAMI, you work to create real pathways to employment, studies, and self-sufficiency for individuals far from the labor market. You meet participants with different experiences and needs and work closely with them to create structure, motivation, and clear next steps. You have an active role throughout the participant's process. This means you conduct individual conversations, lead group initiatives, follow up on agreed activities, and help participants turn their goals into concrete actions. You also follow up on internships, work training, and employment to ensure that efforts lead forward. An important part of the assignment is to create opportunities in the labor market. You build relationships with employers, identify suitable workplaces, and work with matching based on the participant's skills and circumstances. In contact with workplaces, you serve as support for both the participant and the mentor or manager who receives the person. The work is conducted in close collaboration with, among others, Arbetsförmedlingen, Kriminalvården, colleagues within the municipality, and other relevant actors. You therefore need to be comfortable creating and developing collaborations, working proactively, and building trusting relationships with authorities, civil society, and the business sector. The role also includes documenting, following up, and ensuring that the participant's planning stays on track over time. You need to be able to combine respectful and individually adapted treatment with clarity, structure, and focus on progression. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with completed or ongoing higher education in social or behavioral sciences, for example political science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A B-class driving license is required because the work involves travel to, for example, internship placements, employers, and other activities. To succeed in the assignment, you need to be able to build trust and create professional relationships. Great emphasis is placed on experience working with individuals with a criminal background and in many cases previous substance abuse issues. In the assignment, it is important that you believe in the individual's ability to both work and change their lifestyle. The work requires that you have broad knowledge of the labor market and business. You are confident in your approach and can combine an individually adapted working method with clarity and structure. Because the role involves many contact points, you also need to enjoy collaborating, creating new contacts, and driving your work forward. It is a merit if you have experience with documentation and day notes in activity systems, collaboration with civil society and the business sector, and experience with or knowledge of working in a politically governed organization.
