The Social Services Department of Askersund Municipality is responsible for eldercare, LSS and care services, social psychiatry, services for unaccompanied refugee children, and individual and family services. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES About the job Within the Daily Activities program in Askersund Municipality, we work to ensure that participants' activities are stimulating, meaningful, and current. Many of our participants have a strong interest in digital and technical matters, and we want our activities to reflect this. Your role as a support assistant/facilitator will be to lead activities in IT, film, photography, programming, and digital creation. It's not about being an expert, but about being a responsive facilitator who can guide, inspire, and develop the activities based on participants' own interests and knowledge levels. At the same time, the position is broad and involves guiding participants alongside other colleagues in the program's other activities. You therefore need to be flexible and enjoy working with several different types of tasks based on participants' needs, abilities, and interests. We also have a clear focus on health and wellbeing. Physical activity is a natural part of the program and you will participate in and lead various types of movement and wellness activities with the participants. Your main responsibilities: · Guide participants in their daily activities with focus on technology, media, and digital creation. · Plan and structure tasks that promote independence, participation, and personal development. · Participate in and guide participants in the program's other work and activity areas. · Plan and conduct physical activities that promote health, joy of movement, and community. · Document interventions and prepare implementation plans in Lifecare. · Collaborate with colleagues and a support educator to continuously develop the program's pedagogical work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We're looking for someone who is secure in their person and who has an easy time building relationships. You have a natural curiosity about technology and digital creation, but also an interest in supporting people in their development and everyday life. You are flexible and enjoy switching between different types of tasks. Qualifications Requirements • Education: Upper secondary education with an aesthetic focus, for example the Aesthetic program (media, image and form, photography or similar), or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • Aesthetic competence: You have knowledge and experience in one or more aesthetic areas, such as media, photography, film, graphic design, visual creation, or digital creation. You feel confident in inspiring, supporting, and guiding others in creative processes. • Digital competence: You have good basic IT knowledge and are used to using digital tools as part of creation and communication. • Communication: You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing and can document and communicate with participants, relatives, and colleagues. • Driver's License: Class B driver's license is required as the program conducts activities at multiple locations. Meriting factors • Experience facilitating, teaching, or supporting people with disabilities. • Post-secondary education in aesthetic subjects, media, culture, or pedagogy. • Experience working with creative activities in groups. • Knowledge in digital production, for example photography, film, social media, graphic design, or digital visual creation.
