About the Operation At Stadsparksbadet café, you'll work in a welcoming and vibrant environment where people gather to swim, relax, play, or simply have a meal or coffee break in our cozy restaurant. Our goal is to create a pleasant dining experience for Borås residents and visitors to our city. We strive for a sustainable and thoughtful selection that suits most of our guests. As a supervisor, you are part of Fritidsservice, which consists of facility maintenance, custodial services, and café, and which has one of its missions to offer internships for those far from the regular labor market. Job Responsibilities Your job responsibilities encompass all common tasks in the kitchen, restaurant & café, as well as some lighter administrative work. Together with your colleagues, you take on the task of guiding people in the workforce who, for various reasons, are far from the regular labor market—so one of your most important responsibilities is to motivate and support individuals in performing their work according to their ability. Your mentoring promotes growth with responsibility and increased self-insight regarding personal goals and opportunities. Qualifications We're looking for someone who thrives in interaction with others, creates a respectful atmosphere around you, and has experience mentoring others in practical tasks. You should have completed secondary education in restaurant and institutional catering or another education that the employer deems relevant. You have experience working in kitchen/restaurant and café operations and have a strong ability to mentor in work. With strong commitment and enthusiasm, you perform your work and have a genuine interest in baking and cooking, quality, and service. In your mentoring, you proceed from the equal value of all and encourage participation and engagement. You are observant and good at listening, setting boundaries with care, and working for cohesion. You gain energy from creating conditions that contribute to others' learning. You motivate, provide advice, and support development in daily work, and see failures as something to learn from. You are curious and contribute with new ideas and take responsibility for moving work forward. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and have the ability to balance different demands and maintain calm in challenging situations, whether you work alone or with others. You have good knowledge of the Office suite and digital tools. A Class B driving license is required. The position includes scheduled service during daytime, evenings, and weekends.
