About the Job We are seeking a specialist handler in reading accessibility for the team that processes applications for access to Legimus. Legimus is MTM's digital library service for people who have a disability that makes it difficult to read printed text. In this role, you will work with assessing applications and making decisions about access to Legimus based on users' needs, applicable guidelines, and available information. Your focus will be on more complex assessments that require analysis and deliberation. You will be part of a team with shared responsibility for efficient case handling with requirements for quality and equality. The role involves being the team's specialist on reading situations and how disabilities can affect reading. Your responsibilities: Contribute with in-depth expertise on disabilities and their impact on reading, with special focus on cognitive reading difficulties. Handle applications and supplementary requests in the ongoing workflow. Responsible for assessment in more complex or difficult cases. Contribute specialist expertise in developing internal and external support materials. Support colleagues with questions regarding interpretation and assessment in relation to target groups. Contribute specialist expertise in other parts of the agency when needed. About You We are looking for you who have: Higher education in speech-language pathology, special education, library and information science, or other higher education deemed equivalent Current experience working with accessible media, or alternatively experience working with people with reading difficulties Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing It is meritorious if you have: Current experience with case handling Current experience with administrative authority functions Current experience supporting colleagues in assessments Good experience independently managing and coordinating work tasks Experience handling incoming inquiries via email and phone Experience working with citizen service and communication issues The role requires you to be thorough, structured, pedagogical, and have strong analytical ability. You can make well-founded assessments even when the information is complex.
