About the Job As a registration officer, you primarily work with receiving, registering, and reviewing applications. Your work tasks vary in scope and complexity. You assess whether there are grounds supporting an application, register, report, and archive submissions. Your work includes extensive customer contact, both via email and telephone. You administer various cases, for example, sending compensation to crime victims and handling promissory notes. The cases you handle require legal certainty, speed, and efficiency. You will undergo internal training combining practical experience with theory, and you will also have a mentor. You are part of a section that collectively takes responsibility for results, planning, and work distribution. Registration operations are located at three offices in the country and collaborate daily on shared tasks. Everyone working at Kronofogden contributes to the work against crime. Your work includes identifying and preventing attempted criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a registration officer, you may, for example, discover and report incorrect population registration, which can result in helping to stop incorrect benefit payments from other authorities. Your Qualifications: - Secondary school diploma - 1 year of work experience in administrative or case-handling work in the past three years, for example, registration, review, assessment, and decision-making - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing About Us Kronofogden is a government agency with an important mission. Good to Know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a registration officer. Kronofogden offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working in the state sector means you follow the government value base. Special requirements are also placed on judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask at interviews about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked of references. We also collect information about debts registered with Kronofogden, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. Any information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with registry check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
