Welcome to us This role is part of the Digital Development and Information Management unit, which is responsible for driving digital business development within the service administration. The unit is also responsible for providing the digital workplace to the administration's employees. Here you will also find the functions of information security, data protection and GDPR as well as the administration's archive, records and board management. You will become part of a development-intensive unit of nine people where you have the opportunity to work with information management and data protection from a holistic perspective and be involved in developing the administration's work with good information management. Your role In this role, you will work broadly and operatively with information management issues, with particular focus on data protection matters. You will also provide operational support to the administration's records management function. You will be an important part of ensuring that the municipality's information is managed in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations, while contributing to developing our working methods, structures and capabilities. An important part of the assignment is to see the opportunities in well-structured information management. When information is correctly structured, classified and accessible, better conditions are created for digitalization, automation and future AI applications. You will therefore have the opportunity to contribute in an area that is central to the municipality's continued digital development. In this role you will work operatively with issues related to archives, records management and data protection provide advice and support to operations on matters concerning information management and applicable legislation contribute to developing the municipality's working methods in records management, archives and data protection support the administration's board administration interpret and translate legislation and regulations into practically functioning working methods work with issues related to public documents, public access and confidentiality provide support on data protection issues and contribute to appropriate handling of personal data and maintenance and development of the register inventory participate in development and management of information structures and information processes contribute to work with digitalization, automation and other initiatives where good information structure is a prerequisite monitor developments in relevant legislation, information management, digitalization and AI develop and adapt governing and supporting materials, such as guidelines, procedures, instructions and information to operations train and inform employees and operations in relevant areas. The role involves both operational tasks and long-term development work. You will therefore need to be able to switch between concrete issues in operations and more strategic questions about how the municipality's information management should develop. You will work closely with the records manager, information security officer and administrator. Your competence and experience We see that you have relevant university education in, for example, law, archive and information science, social science, data/systems science or other education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways have work experience in several of the areas archives, records management, data protection and information security or information management have a good understanding of regulations and conditions in public activities related to information management and data protection have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing can analyze complex issues and translate regulations and requirements into practical working methods. It is meriting if you have experience of data protection and information security, for example work with impact assessments, personal data processing, register inventories and information classification. relevant experience in public information management, such as records management and record keeping as well as management, reporting, retention and disposal of public documents and related laws and regulations. experience of information architecture and structured information management in connection with system implementations, business development and digitalization or automation initiatives an understanding of how quality-assured information creates prerequisites for analysis, automation and AI applications.
