The Swedish Military Intelligence and Security Service (MUST) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense and security policy, as well as for identifying external threats to Sweden. Main duties As an information management officer, you will be an important part of our team and contribute to ensuring information is managed in a structured, secure and efficient manner. You work both independently and together with colleagues in a technology-rich environment where precision, service and responsibility are central parts of the role. The role includes, among other things, the following tasks: Register, manage and structure information in various IT systems. Responsible for file and document management as well as registry work. Receive, process and disseminate information via various communication systems. Work according to established processes, routines and regulations and contribute to further developing these. Provide administrative service and support to other parts of the organization, both through personal contacts and via digital support systems. Manage contacts and information flows with both national and international actors. Work both independently and together with colleagues, with great personal responsibility for carrying out tasks with high quality. About the unit You will become part of MUST's operations support office, which consists of various functions and provides support to both internal and external actors. At the operations support office there is the Communications and Liaison Department, where the Intelligence and Security Center Section is located. The section is led by a section chief and at the section work senior officers who coordinate the work, as well as information officers. Qualifications Post-secondary education in the areas of information management, registry, public administration, political science or equivalent. Alternatively, upper secondary education and several years of work experience in administrative work such as case management, information management or registry work. Documented good computer skills with experience working in databases, communication systems or equivalent. Well-developed communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish and English. Meritorious Basic military training Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces operations Familiarity with the Swedish Armed Forces IT systems Service in deployment area or work at foreign agency Experience handling information covered by confidentiality Experience in help desk support work Experience working with complex information flows The qualifications stated above must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references and work or selection tests. Other information Employment form: Permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date: By agreement Work location: Stockholm. Work-related travel may occur.
