Description The Rural Department is one of four departments at the County Administrative Board and is led by the Rural Director. The department consists of three units, each led by its own unit manager. We are responsible for EU support including area-based and animal-based support as well as project and investment support, but also for animal welfare and veterinary matters, food strategy, and project activities. You will work in the Rural Support unit together with officers handling area-based and animal-based support as well as investment and project support. The unit has ten employees who together contribute to the whole. Our mission is to process EU support within the strategic plan for the EU's common agricultural policy. We contribute to stable and efficient payments to the county's farmers and thereby create good conditions for developing the county's agriculture and food production. Work Tasks You will primarily work with processing applications and payments for investment and project support. The emphasis between tasks may vary over time depending on operational needs. Our activities and needs change over time, which means you may have the opportunity to try other work tasks within the County Administrative Board, for example processing area-based and animal-based support. Qualifications We are looking for you who have academic education with an agricultural or economic focus knowledge of agriculture's economic conditions Class B driver's license good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish good IT skills You can quickly understand regulations and IT systems. The position requires high standards of structured work methods and administrative competence. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have good social skills and can contribute to a good work environment with us. You are communicative and good at building positive relationships, both internally and externally. In your role as a public official, you are solution-oriented and have a professional approach. It is advantageous if you have professional experience in case processing related to investment support or project support, preferably from a County Administrative Board or similar experience from the consulting industry. Your own agricultural experience is advantageous.
