Read more about what it's like to work at Transportstyrelsen You will - be both directive and supportive in licensing and oversight work for maritime and port security. This includes both document review and visits to operations - develop new work methods and new methodology for port security, where new regulations are coming into effect - participate in regulatory development work - plan and conduct internal and external training and information activities - cooperate and collaborate at a national level with other authorities, interest organizations, and the industry - cooperate with other countries on maritime and port security matters. You must have - completed education from a university or university college with a focus on protection, security, or maritime affairs, or other post-secondary education combined with several years of experience in the protection or security field that we consider equivalent - current work experience in investigation and analysis work, e.g., risk and vulnerability analysis - very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish - good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English - a class B driver's license. It is a merit if you also have - experience in performing licensing and oversight work - experience in maritime and port security work, e.g., as CSO, PFSO, PSO, or SSO - experience working in the maritime sector - experience working in public administration. We normally apply a trial employment period. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely to some extent. A security check with background screening according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted.
