Luna Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school located on Lidingö that serves students with neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disabilities. We offer three national upper secondary programs that prepare students for higher education, as well as an introductory program—individual option—for students who do not meet the entry requirements for upper secondary school.
With competent and engaged staff, we base education on each student's abilities and circumstances. We are now seeking a high school teacher in mathematics and chemistry who has a particular interest and commitment to special education. It is an advantage if you have experience teaching at both the middle school and upper secondary levels.

You will teach our national programs as well as students in the introductory program. Work on the introductory program largely involves teaching toward primary school goals and supporting students on an individual level. In all programs, the work involves helping students with structures and motivation. The position includes mentoring some students whom you will support and work closely with during their time at upper secondary school.
Luna Gymnasium is located on the beautiful nature island of Lidingö. The school is directly adjacent to the Lidingö nature reserve and only 22 minutes from Stockholm Central Station with good connections. The bus stops near the school. The school works closely with Luna Youth Housing, which is a boarding facility and an LSS residential home.
Luna Gymnasium is operated by Utvecklingspedagogik Sverige AB. Utvecklingspedagogik conducts educational and care activities that provide increased knowledge, quality of life, and participation in society for children, young people, and adults with disabilities. All operations are characterized by high quality, continuous development, and individual focus.
