For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential care and open services for children, young people and families, on-call and family homes, substance abuse treatment, supported housing, initiatives against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS residential care. We offer counseling and training and help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations. Gryning's HVB Sunnerö opened in Alingsås in November 2022. The service is for individual children ages 8-11 who need care, treatment and supplementary assessments. We operate 24 hours a day. We are now seeking a treatment pedagogue with on-call night shift for a permanent part-time position at 41.17% with start date by agreement. Training will take place during daytime. Probationary employment may be applied. 1 position(s). DUTIES During the night, the focus is on maintaining stability, safety and security. Your duties include maintaining the evening environment and being available for our children, as well as making observations and simple documentation. Carrying out daily routines is part of the role. At night, two people work—one awake and you on on-call duty. We work with children and young people who often have experienced trauma, lack of care and other difficult life events. Many of the children we meet may express their stress, worry and feelings through acting-out behaviors. The work is therefore both meaningful and challenging. It is important that you have an understanding of the target group's needs and feel confident meeting children in complex life situations. QUALIFICATIONS We seek someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent, focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science or another relevant field. We would like you to have previous experience working with the target group. You are a role model and have the ability to create credible and stable relationships. You are part of the structure that clarifies and contains the children's difficulties and have the ability to create safety and predictability. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
