You participate in the unit's local management and quality group. You're part of the work team and have scheduled shifts in care operations. Examples of tasks as a group leader include: self-audits, driving quality work forward according to plan, administering admissions and discharges, following up on Social Services Act measures and documentation in the system, leading planning meetings, and more. Get in touch to learn more. About Björknäsgårdens Elderly Care Facility Björnäsgården has 126 modern apartments spread across two buildings with 3 to 4 stories each. Each unit has a reception kitchen, dining room, living room, and balcony or patio where we socialize, eat meals, and conduct activities. To succeed in this role, we believe you are someone who wants to make a difference and contribute to creating a Good Life – Every Day for our residents. You should enjoy collaborating with others and have the ability to adapt your communication to your audience. You contribute to a positive work environment and share our values. We are looking for someone who has: Care and Support Program or equivalent, plus work experience in elderly care (required). At least two years of relevant work experience, training as a group leader or similar. It is a merit if you have education or work experience with elderly individuals with cognitive impairment. You are solution-oriented to help the team reach set goals. You have good administrative skills and are genuinely interested in your assignment. Good computer skills and knowledge of the Office package. You speak Swedish well, both verbally and in writing. Personal qualities: Humanistic view of people. Flexible and responsible. Humble, unpretentious, and receptive. Strong leadership and collaboration skills. Easy to build trust with. Wants to make a difference for other people. About Norlandia Elderly Care We are a family-owned company offering exciting workplaces from Boden in the north to Malmö in the south. We currently operate about 50 elderly care facilities with headquarters in Stockholm and an accounting and payroll office in Skene. Other information: Employment type: Permanent (6-month probation period) Scope: Full-time with allocated administrative time (approximately 20%). Start date: As soon as possible. For this assignment: The position is an assignment added to the Care and Support position. An supplementary agreement is written between the employee and employer. Probation: We apply a 6-month probation period. We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have one.
