About the role and your responsibilities As a primary school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as applicable governing documents. You are well familiar with the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of instruction and work to promote student learning and development. We are looking for someone who feels a strong commitment to teaching and who wants to help create a safe, inspiring, and developmental learning environment for our students. As a Swedish teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction and for working together with colleagues to create good conditions for student learning and development. You will become part of a dedicated team where collaboration, collegial learning, and student well-being are at the center. What we're looking for We are looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish in grades 7–9. It is advantageous if you also have qualifications to teach Swedish as a second language (SvA) and Spanish in grades 7–9. You are confident in your teaching role and have clear and structured classroom leadership. Additionally, you have a strong ability to build relationships and meet students based on their individual circumstances. We believe you enjoy collaborating and contributing to the school's collective development and have a commitment to student learning outcomes and well-being. Essential competencies: Very good Swedish language skills in speaking and writing. Good understanding of second language development and language development teaching methods. Ability to plan, implement, and follow up on instruction and assign grades according to applicable governing documents.
