Right now we are looking for you, a teacher for grades 7-9 with credentials in Science and Technology, as one of our colleagues will be on parental leave. At Videdalsskolan we work in teams based on each school year while also providing opportunities for planning and development within the subject area team. Here you will be part of a team of teachers where you together plan and are responsible for students' education and development. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in Science and Technology in grade 9 where you educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiative, develop their interests and take responsibility for themselves and others. As a teacher you conduct modern and creative instruction and find strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal development. Your assignment includes, among other things, planning, implementing and evaluating pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and the student's needs and interests, individually as well as together with the team you belong to. Your assignment also includes mentorship. You collaborate with other school staff for a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and participate in the school's development work. Qualifications We are looking for you who have teacher certification with credentials to teach Science and Technology for grades 7-9. If you have previous experience working with grades 7-9 this is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have experience working according to CPS. It is important to us that you have the right mindset for your role and activities. You can organize your work, are confident and solution-focused and contribute to creating a good working climate together with your colleagues. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and know how to effectively apply them in daily work. Your instruction is modern, creative and innovative. Based on evidence-based research you develop your work and with good familiarity and practice you work effectively with relevant digital tools.
