Ref: 20262119 Job Responsibilities We are now looking for a teacher for grades 4-6 at Bulltoftaskolan! You will be part of a team of teachers where you work together to plan and take responsibility for students' education and development, and decide on any needs such as subject integration or project studies in your classes. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in grades 4-6 in Swedish, English, Math, and Science/or Social Studies, where you educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. In addition to your team of teachers, you will collaborate with other colleagues at the school and be supported by a manager who assists you in your role. Your role may also include mentoring some of our students. As a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, which gives you the opportunity to follow their academic development and personal maturation more closely. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated about the student's academic development through regular development conversations. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with credentials to teach grades 4-6 in Swedish, English, Math, and Science/or Social Studies. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider that an advantage. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. You also have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive study environment and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and practice, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. You have a strong command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Of course, you have a professional approach and work for good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. About the Workplace Within the Bulltofta principal's area, there are approximately 500 students distributed among three schools: Bulltoftaskolan, Karlshögsskolan, and Mölletoftaskolan. Bulltoftaskolan has approximately 300 students from preschool through grade 6. There is one class in each grade level in preschool–3 at Bulltoftaskolan, and from grade 4, three parallel classes are formed as students from Bulltoftaskolan, Karlshögsskolan, and Mölletoftaskolan are combined. Bulltoftaskolan is located adjacent to Beijerspark. Karlshögsskolan and Mölletoftaskolan are two of Malmö's smallest schools; Karlshögsskolan is located in the residential area Håkanstorp and Mölletoftaskolan on the former Bulltofta airfield, near Flygfältsparken. Approximately 100 students attend each of these two schools, from preschool through grade 3.
