1 position(s). Your Workplace In August 2025, Härryda Municipality launched a resource school for students with autism and/or language disorders. Mosslyckeskolan is a school that offers instruction in a small-group setting. Students come from throughout the municipality, and in school year 26/27 we have 25 students in grades 4-9. The facilities have great potential and are newly renovated, located in a beautiful setting in Landvetter right next to Önnerödsskolan. The school grounds have been restored and divided into two areas—one that invites play and activity, and another where students can sit and play games or socialize. The school consists of a large building with multiple entrances and various spaces to be adapted according to our needs. We aim for high expertise and availability of all the professionals the school requires. We have physical education at Pinntorpshallen, a modern facility in the nearby area. We will build the school and many aspects of the organization together. You will have access to regular supervision from a speech-language pathologist, psychologist, and special education specialist. Your Role As a teacher with us, you meet with students every morning and conduct a check-in to understand how they're doing and experiencing their day. You adapt the day based on the level students indicate they can manage. You work continuously with visual supports and clarifying pedagogy to strengthen students' communication and ability to demonstrate their knowledge. Your role includes planning, delivering, and evaluating instruction together with colleagues. You are responsible for leading instruction in your subjects, both in class, in small groups, and individually as needed. Instruction always stems from current curriculum documents and course plans. Your planning must also serve as clear instructions for any resource staff, which requires both strong teaching skill and the ability to collaborate with other adults. Collaboration around students is central to our work. We are at the workplace 40 hours per week to enable active participation in team meetings, professional development, and other forums. You also have close access to special education specialists, special teachers, and speech-language pathologists, as well as ongoing supervision in your role. You will serve as mentor for 2-3 students in your group and conduct development conversations with them. An important part of the role is maintaining good dialogue with guardians and external partners to ensure students' development and well-being. This position is a parental leave substitute for 1 year. What We Require We are looking for a licensed elementary school teacher with subject certification for grades 4–6 in Swedish/Math/English. You have several years of experience with this student population where you have achieved positive results through your approach and knowledge. You have strong commitment and experience working with children and youth with NPF diagnoses (autism, ADHD, and language disorders). You work with a low-key affect and flexibly, using clarifying pedagogy, AAC, visual supports, and digital and compensatory tools as natural elements of instruction. To be hired, you must provide a clearance from the Police's criminal record register. A clearance from the suspicion register may also be required depending on the position.
