Ref: 20261968 Job Responsibilities We are now looking for you, a qualified teacher in Swedish and Social Studies, to teach in grades 4-6. In your assignment at Katrinelundsskolan, you will plan and conduct teaching as well as assess students' acquired knowledge. You will evaluate and develop pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and students' needs and interests, both individually and together with your team. Through modern and creative teaching, you will find strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. You will work together with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and will actively participate in the school's development work. Your assignment also includes mentoring several of our students. In your role as a mentor, you will have specific responsibility for a group of students, giving you the opportunity to follow their academic development and personal growth more closely. As a mentor, you will keep students' guardians informed about their academic progress through regular development meetings. Qualifications You are a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in Swedish and Social Studies. Qualifications in Mathematics and/or English and Natural Sciences are advantageous. Previous experience working as a teacher in special education within primary school is required. It is advantageous if you have documented experience working as a mentor, as well as knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. You possess good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create an orderly and good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools.
