Qualifications We are looking for someone who is an engaged and qualified/licensed elementary teacher for after-school programs and who wants to help create a safe, inspiring, and developmental school day for our students. For us, the after-school program is an important part of the bigger picture around each student. You have good insight into the school's governing documents and the ability to implement them in daily work. You plan, lead, and organize your instruction with a focus on creating meaningful, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments—both during school hours and in the after-school program. We view the environment as the third teacher, which means you actively work to develop physical and pedagogical learning environments that spark curiosity, promote participation, and support students' learning, social interaction, and independence. You have a calm and relational approach, and meet students with clear structure, safety, and care. You are skilled at adapting activities based on both the group's and individual students' needs. For you, collaboration is a given, and you easily build good and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
