This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for permanent hire. Initially, you will be employed by Bravura, and PM Telekom has expressed their intention to offer you employment with them in the future. About the Company
PM Telekom offers services for businesses and individuals throughout Southern Sweden and is a well-established contracting company specializing in telecom and data networks. They perform all common services and maintenance work for new construction, renovations, and service. PM Telekom carries out installation and maintenance work on copper and fiber networks, data and telephone networks, as well as excavation. The company was founded in 2002 and currently has about 50 employees and technicians distributed throughout Southern Sweden, with headquarters in Kungsbacka. PM Telekom also has a subsidiary, Link to Link, focused on fiber installation.
Job Responsibilities
As a laborer, you will primarily work with manual excavation and various types of ground work related to fiber expansion. The work is varied, and when excavation work is not underway, you will support the operations in other parts of the fiber projects.
You will work together with technicians, equipment operators, and other colleagues on the projects. Over time, there are opportunities to develop skills in other areas related to fiber installation and telecom.
Examples of tasks:
- Manual excavation in connection with fiber expansion
- Assist equipment operators with ground work
- Support fiber technicians and fiber blowers in daily work
- Prepare work sites and materials
- Participate in simple fiber-related work tasks
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
- Upper secondary education in a practical or technical field
- Class B driver's license
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
To succeed in this role, your attitude is more important than previous experience. You are hardworking, persistent, and enjoy physical outdoor work. You take responsibility for your tasks, collaborate well with others, and are motivated to learn new skills.
