Welcome to join us! Your responsibilities We are looking for a graphic designer who loves visual production for a one-year temporary position at Communications Service. The role involves operative and creative work producing materials based on client briefs. You will create visual materials and be responsible for ensuring that deliverables maintain high technical and aesthetic quality. The responsibilities include producing printed materials, editorial design, and digital content for web and social media. You will also be responsible for quality-assuring materials according to Linköping Municipality's graphic profile. You will be part of a close team working alongside copywriters and film producers, where you set the visual foundation and create the fixed form that the department's animators will then bring to life. Your workplace Communications Service is the municipality's internal communications agency that offers communication services to the municipality's operations and companies. We help from idea to finished production, including film, photography and animation, audio production, graphic design, e-learning, copywriting, accessibility adaptations of certain documents, web publishing, web training, and social media advertising. We work in modern premises at Ebbepark. We practice trust-based working hours and remote work up to two days per week when operations allow. About you We are looking for someone with a college degree in graphic design, communications and media, or other education/experience that we consider equivalent. We see that you have several years of documented and solid experience in operative and creative work with graphic design and production. You have a proven ability to strictly follow, apply, and quality-assure materials according to a given graphic profile, and the ability to see this ruleset as a creative challenge. It is a requirement that you have good knowledge and extensive experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud. As a graphic designer, it is highly meriting if you have experience working at an in-house agency or similar production environment. If you also have knowledge and experience in animation or film and audio production, in addition to your graphic expertise, that is meriting. We would like to see that you have experience working with generative AI (e.g., Midjourney or equivalent tools) and copywriting. It is also desirable if you have previous experience working in a politically governed organization. For this position, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing since you will be producing materials in Swedish. As a person, you are creative and innovative within given parameters. You easily come up with new concepts, but simultaneously possess the collaboration skills required to meet our clients' needs. We see that you both drive your tasks independently and enjoy collaborating, and that you maintain a high service level toward our clients.
