Would you like meaningful work where you truly make a difference? We are now looking for a reliable and committed personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives close to nature in his own cottage on his parents' farm in Alingsås. There are sheep, a dog, and a cat – a calm environment for someone who appreciates closeness to nature.
A driver's license and access to a car are required as the residence is some distance from public transportation. Driving is also part of the job.
About the assignment
The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in all aspects of his daily living. On weekdays, he participates in day activities between 09:00–15:00.
In his free time, he enjoys being involved in cooking, participating in planned activities, and having a daily routine with clear structure. Weekends are preferably spent in nature, through walks or having coffee breaks together with his assistant.
Who are you?
You are reliable, independent, and take initiative. We would like you to be an active person with a genuine interest in cooking, since you will cook together during your work shifts.
The work requires you to be organized and comfortable with clear pedagogical methods and established routines.
Requirements: Driver's license and access to a car
Meritorious: Experience with autism
Great weight is placed on personal qualities and your willingness to create a safe and functioning collaboration.
About the position
Fixed-term employment as long as the assignment lasts, approximately 60% with varying working hours. Weekday shifts are usually 15:15–08:55 or 15:15–21:15. Weekend shifts can be 09:00–15:00, 15:00–09:00, or 24-hour shifts.
