Apply today—we conduct continuous selection! ABOUT THE ROLE: As a GIS Developer at ForestX, you'll be part of a long-term development project with one of Sweden's largest forest companies. Together, you'll develop digital solutions that help the customer plan, analyze, and manage forest land using GIS, satellite data, and other geographic information. You'll be part of a team of about ten people, where you work closely with systems developers and architects. In this role, you contribute your GIS expertise and help develop solutions that handle large amounts of geodata related to forest inventory and planning. ForestX develops platforms and decision support systems that combine GIS, laser scanning, satellite data, and advanced data models to create more sustainable and efficient forestry. At the same time, requirements for traceability and regulatory compliance are increasing, making GIS a central part of future digital solutions in the forestry industry. RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and further development of GIS solutions on the ESRI platform Configuration and implementation of ESRI products in complex system environments Close collaboration with developers and architects Contribute specialized knowledge in GIS architecture and technical decisions WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU: Have experience with GIS tools and the surrounding ecosystem, such as ESRI, QGIS, or similar Have experience setting up and designing software platforms/systems in complex development projects We also place great importance on personal suitability.
