We have opportunities in several places throughout Sweden, with particularly good possibilities in Norrland and smaller towns where the need for experienced healthcare professionals is often significant. For someone who enjoys variety, consulting can be an excellent option. You'll have the opportunity to discover new parts of Sweden, meet new workplaces and people, and at the same time have greater control over when, where, and how much you work. What can an assignment involve? As a physical therapist through Sanandum, you can work within, for example: Municipal healthcare Home care services Assisted living and elder care Rehabilitation Short-term services Primary care and other healthcare facilities Common tasks may include assessing physical function and mobility, rehabilitation interventions, gait and mobility training, fall prevention, fitting assistive devices, and providing advice and guidance to patients, family members, and care staff. You often work closely with occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and other professionals, becoming an important part of the interdisciplinary team. Assignments vary in content and length. Some people want to work for a few weeks, others for a few months or recurring periods during the year. Why work as a consultant? You are a licensed physical therapist or physiotherapist and feel confident in your professional role.
