As a physical therapist at Tibro Kommun, you'll be part of a dedicated rehabilitation unit consisting of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants working together to create the best possible conditions for the municipality's residents. Your work area will primarily be within Tibro Kommun.
In your role as a physical therapist, you will:
Responsible for rehabilitation services in residential care facilities, short-term placements, LSS, functional support, and ordinary housing.
Conduct assessments, treatments, training, and trial and prescription of assistive devices.
Work with Safe Discharge Home and support patients in recovery after hospital stays.
Train and educate nursing staff and relatives.
Work closely with occupational therapists and other professionals around the service user.
To thrive in this role, we see that you have:
Registration as a physical therapist
Class B driver's license, manual transmission
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
It is a merit if you have experience working with elderly people and have worked in a municipality before
We would like you to have a pleasant approach with the service user in focus, be good at collaboration, and have strong communication skills. You should be confident in yourself and your professional role.
