The Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Unit (AFE) is seeking a physiotherapist to replace our colleague on parental leave! This position is temporary but with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will work in inpatient care serving surgical and/or medical patients. You will be employed at the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Unit (AFE), which as of January 2026 is part of the Health Professions division.
Job Description
AFE provides occupational therapy and physiotherapy services in both inpatient and outpatient care connected to all adult operations at Södersjukhuset. We are responsible for initial rehabilitation and physical optimization of patients at SÖS. We have approximately 16 occupational therapists and over 40 physiotherapists on the unit, led by two section heads. Your employment will be with the unit, and since we work across the hospital, there is great opportunity to develop in the direction you wish. As healthcare is constantly evolving, you need to be flexible as a person; if needed in our operations, you may be placed in other departments than your ordinary one. This happens in dialogue and only in operations where you have the competence the work requires. Good collaboration skills are also important.
