Årsta Primary Care Center Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health services in Uppsala County. We offer a broad range of services within primary care. Our patients visit us at Region Uppsala's primary care centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice via phone through 1177. You will have varied, stimulating, and developmental work. We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date by agreement. A trial employment period may be applied. Your Assignment Patients of all ages with issues from the musculoskeletal system, central and peripheral nervous system, and psychosomatic conditions. At the primary care center, we work together with other professional groups and conduct team assessments and follow-ups for patients with complex needs. As a physical therapist, you will work independently with responsibility for assessment and treatment at both individual and group levels, where choice of interventions should be based on available evidence and existing guidelines. Participation in mentoring students may be part of the role. Your Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physical therapist, preferably with prior experience in primary care. Experience as a mentor is considered an asset. We actively work to improve patient flow through triage and scheduling for all professions at the primary care center. Therefore, you need to understand the importance of good patient flow at the primary care center and have a positive attitude toward interprofessional work. The position requires good teamwork skills and comfort working in a team with other professional groups, as well as the ability to work independently. We would appreciate if you have experience leading groups. Further training in OMT, Mediyoga, or BK is considered an asset. As a person, you are clear in your communication and structured in your work approach. You enjoy thinking creatively in ways that can be put into practice. You have pedagogical ability, good interpersonal skills, and ease in building rapport with both patients and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations Årsta Primary Care Center is part of the Primary Care and Health department at Region Uppsala and is located in an expansive area just outside Uppsala city center. We have approximately 15,500 registered patients and about 75 employees. All professional areas are represented with us, and together we offer all services within the primary care center's mandate.
