An exciting job for you who have a degree in physics and enjoy the combination of practical work (laboratory) and desk work (documentation). Here you'll develop further within your field, learn new things, and contribute to something important! The position is located outside Oskarshamn. It works perfectly well to commute weekly (we'll help you with all the practical arrangements!) The Role: The position includes a large portion of laboratory work, measurement technology work, analysis, evaluation, material clearance, and documentation. It's a role that combines desk work (documentation) with practical work (laboratory work). If you're interested in radiation, physics, laboratory work, analysis, and want to work on something meaningful that makes a difference, this is exactly right for you! What We're Looking For: Education: Medical physics or an engineering degree with a focus on physics/technical physics, or equivalent. Several years of education required. Experience: It's great if you have experience with laboratory work and you need to be comfortable with measurement technology, analysis, and data evaluation. Knowledge of radiation, nuclear power, detectors at educational level or practical experience from process industry is a plus. Who You Are as a Person: Calm, confident, engaged, and driven. You're interested in your field. Flexible and eager. You thrive in a larger context but can also very well drive your own work forward and take own initiative. You love learning new things and look forward with great curiosity to doing exactly that. High sense of responsibility. Driver's License: Required. Languages: Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written. Other: The nature of the work means that as a candidate you need to be on-site much of the time, but flexibility for weekly commuting arrangements exists.
