An exciting job opportunity for you with education in physics who enjoys combining practical work (laboratory work) and desk work (documentation). Here you'll develop further within your field, learn new things, and contribute something important!
The position is located outside Malmö. If you live elsewhere, weekly commuting works great (we'll help you with all practical arrangements!)
The Role:
The position includes a significant amount of laboratory work, measurement technical work, analysis, evaluation, material clearance, and documentation. It's a role that combines desk work (documentation) with practical work (laboratory work). If you're interested in radiation, physics, laboratory work, analysis, and want to work on something meaningful that makes a difference, this is exactly right for you!
What We're Looking For:
Education: Medical physics or an engineering degree with a focus on physics/technical physics, or equivalent. Several years of education required.
Experience: Experience with laboratory work is welcome, and you need to be comfortable with measurement techniques, analysis, and data evaluation. Knowledge of radiation, nuclear power, detectors at an educational level, or practical experience from process industry is a plus.
Who You Are:
Calm, confident, engaged, and driven. You're interested in your field. Flexible and conscientious. You thrive as part of a larger team but can also very well drive your own work forward and take own initiatives. You love learning new things and look forward with great curiosity to doing just that. High sense of responsibility.
Driver's License:
Required.
Languages:
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Other Information:
The nature of the work means you as a candidate will need to be on-site to a large extent, but flexibility for weekly commuting arrangements is available.
Please feel free to send your application materials in Swedish.
Security-classified position.
When:
By agreement, primarily on an ongoing basis going forward.
