We are seeking a breakfast attendant to join our team for the winter season at 75% starting in November through April, with potential for extension. We are a small hotel with a big heart for our community that welcomes both hotel guests and conference guests. The hotel is located in the scenic Arjeplog, near the Arctic Circle and between the Swedish and Norwegian coasts. The hotel has 45 rooms and also accommodates the STF hostel during the summer season. As a breakfast attendant at Hotell Lyktan, you will work with breakfast preparations. Your main responsibility will be the kitchen, but we are a small hotel where all staff members are ready to help out wherever needed beyond their primary areas of responsibility. What we are looking for: You always ensure your guests feel comfortable and well – service is something you are passionate about. Getting up early in the morning is no problem for you. As the person responsible for breakfast and kitchen, it is important to have a focus on quality, environment, and hygiene as you will be handling food. You take responsibility for your tasks and want to see results in your work. Experience is a merit – we value a genuine interest in kitchen work. You will become an important part of the team and contribute to creating a wonderful atmosphere among colleagues, even during stressful periods. Weekend work occurs during winter and summer season as well as during holidays and sick leave. Our high season is winter time January to March when Arjeplog is a major part of the automotive industry's winter testing, and then summer time July to August when we welcome summer tourists. Examples of work tasks: Prepare and cook hotel breakfast with quality ingredients Breakfast attendant, replenish breakfast items and wash up Ensure order and hygiene in the kitchen Dishes and cleaning of kitchen surfaces Driver's license category B is a requirement You must have reading and speaking proficiency in Swedish and English Personal qualities You are service-oriented and quality-conscious with good teamwork abilities.
