Description Bräckeskolan is now seeking a recreation leader who, together with other staff in collaborative learning, will be responsible for ensuring that the education is varied, school environments are accessible and stimulating. This position is a temporary assignment that runs until the end of the autumn term 2027. Located between a lush forest area and a residential neighborhood, you'll find Bräckeskolan. Bräckeskolan has grades from preschool class through grade 6, and an after-school program. We have approximately 60 staff members for our 530 students. We have 6 departments in our after-school program for students in grades F-6. Job Responsibilities In your role as recreation leader, you will work both at the after-school program and support teachers in the classroom. At the after-school program, you will work together with other educators to develop the pedagogical work with student groups based on current governing documents. You promote participation and influence and offer meaningful recreation for our students. Based on the needs of the operation and your competence, other tasks may also occur. This could include, for example, recess activities, reading instruction in small groups, classroom support. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a recreation leader or has other education deemed equivalent and/or has experience working in an after-school program. For this position, you are required to have a fluent command of Swedish in both speech and writing. As a person, you are engaged with good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and you have the ability to build good relationships with students and colleagues. You work with great attention to detail and are attentive to unexpected situations in both school corridors and schoolyards, where you act quickly and responsibly to ensure safety and order. You are an active person with an interest in movement and activities.
