We are now recruiting an engaged and driven Leisure Activities Leader with Supervisory Responsibility for Southside Tumba. This is a key role for someone who wants to combine relationship-building work with young people, operational leadership, and activity development. You will become an important part of the leadership team for Fryshuset's operations in Botkyrka and will have the opportunity to help create a safe, inspiring, and meaningful meeting place for young people. About Southside Tumba Southside Tumba is a central operation that will become part of Fryshuset's assignment regarding open leisure activities in Botkyrka municipality from 2027. At Southside, leisure club activities are conducted for middle school students and an activity center for high school youth with a focus on meaningful leisure time, relationships, participation, and future hope. As a Leisure Activities Leader with Supervisory Responsibility, you have a central function in the operation. You are responsible for daily coordination and management, support the work team in their daily work, and ensure that activities are carried out with high quality. The role is a close support to the Operations Manager with personnel responsibility and involves clear operational leadership on-site. Your Role with Us As a Leisure Activities Leader with Supervisory Responsibility, you are responsible for creating structure, coordination, and conditions for Southside Tumba's operation to run smoothly every day. You lead and distribute daily work, support colleagues in planning and implementation, and actively contribute to developing the operation's content and quality. At the same time, you are closely involved in the operation and target group, participate in activities, and serve as a role model in working with young people based on Fryshuset's values. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Operational Activity Management Responsible for the daily operations of Southside Tumba. Lead and coordinate the operation on-site. Ensure that activities are carried out with high quality. Coordinate resources and create good conditions for the operation. Identify development needs and contribute to activity development. Supervision and Support for the Work Team Provide operational supervision in daily work. Support employees in planning and implementing activities. Contribute to structure, clarity, and good communication within the work team. Onboard and support new employees. Promote a positive collaborative climate and a good working environment. Planning and Coordination Responsible for practical activity planning. Prepare materials for staffing and scheduling. Ensure that the operation is appropriately staffed according to needs and activities. Coordinate personnel and resources on a daily basis. Pedagogical Leadership Serve as a role model in working with young people. Contribute to developing the operation's working methods and activities. Ensure an inclusive, professional, and relationship-building approach. Actively participate in the operation and in meeting with the target group. Collaboration Work closely with the Operations Manager with personnel responsibility regarding operations, development, and follow-up. Collaborate with facility managers and other operations within Fryshuset Botkyrka. Contribute to a cohesive operation with shared direction and quality. Who Are You? You combine structure with flexibility and feel comfortable in a role where you both lead others and are actively involved in the operation yourself. Qualifications Requirements Post-secondary education in pedagogy, social work, leadership, or equivalent. Experience working with young people in open activities, leisure activities, or similar. Experience leading or coordinating work teams. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Good digital skills and experience working in Office 365. Meritorious Experience with supervisory responsibility without formal personnel responsibility. Experience with scheduling, staffing planning, or activity coordination. Experience working in the nonprofit sector or civil society organizations. Experience working in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.
