We are now hiring dedicated recreation leaders for one of our youth centers that creates safety, community, and meaningful activities for young people ages 13–17. With us, you will work closely with youth, build relationships, and develop activities where participation is in focus. You have a good understanding of the importance of leisure time in young people's lives and development.
The role includes collaboration with schools, social services, police, and civil society organizations. This requires strong collaboration skills, clear role understanding, and a professional approach.
Qualifications
Experience working with young people, preferably in vulnerable areas
Knowledge of pedagogical methods that promote participation
Experience in activity-based youth recreation leadership
Recreation leader training or other education that the employer deems equivalent
We are looking for someone who has drive, initiative, and genuine curiosity. You are confident in yourself, open in your interactions with others, and have a talent for building trusting relationships.
You are skilled at networking and collaborating with actors such as police, schools, social services, and youth organizations. You see possibilities, have a positive attitude, and actively contribute to a safe and developmental environment for young people.
You work in a structured manner, can plan and follow up on activities, and enjoy leading youth-driven projects and forums for influence. You have experience in collaboration both internally and externally.

Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
Evening and weekend shifts are included
For this position, a background check and a check of the Police Records Register will be conducted
